Just changing the journal, cause I feel like it. Nothing really world-shattering or mind-altering to report . . .

Especially this time of year, I think we need to be aware of everything around us. XD I don't want to get overly religeous, but you don't have to believe in God to appreciate this.

This morning my brother was in a very, very bad car accident. He was driving a Chevy Tahoe, going about 45, and hit a deep water puddle. He hydroplaned, nicked a tree, and then ended up flipping FOUR times sideways. He wasn't wearing his seat belt, and ended up falling out of the driver's side window on the first or second flip.

Amazingly he has no broken bones, no internal trauma, no head trauma. He has a gash on his left shin that needed staples, and some road-rash and minor scrapes on his arms and legs. THAT'S IT. Had he gone through the windsheild, he would've had serious head trauma if not dead. Had he stayed in the truck, he would've died (the roof is almost completely caved in). Had he fallen out of the door a second too soon or too late, the truck would've crushed him.

So, just taking a moment to stop and take stock, I wonder if my three friends who passed away last year in a bad accident weren't looking out for him. Karma, angels, really good luck . . . either way you wanna slice it. Count your blessings and hold them dear. After tonight, I'm a believer in miracles.

OMG such a good game. XD I went out and got the midnight preorder of it. I'm about three quarters of the way through, I estimate, and lovin' every minute of it.

Unfortunately like an ADHD patient walking into a room full of shiney bits, the game has distracted me from my artwork for the time being. But never fear, I shall return in due time.

Though I would've liked to have gotten the Nintendo Wii and Zelda : Twilight Princess, I've decided to hold out for now (lack of funds, plus I'm still playing FFXII anyhow.) And I'm waiting to get a PS3 until I see some game that I want to get off of it, which I haven't seen yet. XP

Physically at least. This past month I've been in and out of the hospital emergency room, as well as an orthapedic specialist and a battery of physical therapy sessions.

Result - I've been diagnosed with arthritic degeneration and the beginnings of osteoporosis. XD 23, and I've been hit with diseases that only elderly people are supposed to get. *sigh*

It's getting to the point that holding a pencil or winding cameras at work make my thumb joint ACHE. So far it's not TOO too bad, but I'm really hoping that it doesn't become unbearable within five or ten years . . . .

Anyway, off the sad and sombre note, I managed to UPDATE finally. Some stuff in the Scraps as well as the gallery, for which have been a long time in coming. I appologize, but hopefully these piccies make up for the wait just a little. If not, I'm sorry too. But at least these will get me off the PE Black List. And that's worth something, I think. ^_^
